The purpose of this position is to oversee the production department and evaluate the most cost effective manner in operations to assure quality, timeliness, and work flow. In addition, you will achieve optimum output while utilizing efficient means of labor and raw materials. The position will need to ensure that inventory, mailing, and shipping/receiving functions from our production department are operating at levels which meet our customer needs while meeting financial benchmarks. The position will require evaluation and recommendation of production policies and workflow to assist the organization in maintaining its competitive position. Direct activities utilizing technology, staff, and any other resource to produce product that meets the quality standards of our customers and the company. The position will require the ability to view technology options and bring forth possible operational and technological changes to our current systems. The primary purpose for the production department is to provide 100% quality in the mailing of statements to our customers patients and/or customers and to do so in the timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: BS/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, or Related Major

Required Knowledge: Knowledge of human resources/management, production workflow, technology solutions, and JIT inventory management.

Experience Required: Must have 5+ years of work experience in operations management (or related).

Skills/Abilities: Must have ability to oversee staff of approximately 15+ people, be able to evaluate workflow productivity, make recommendations on improvements, and manage inventory levels (as needed). Must have excellent leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written). In addition, you will need to able to work with technology or identify solutions with vendors as needed.
