The candidate this role will be a key supply chain process improvement expert by implementing best practices in sourcing, procurement, and supplier development.
Responsibilities: - Assessment, identification and development of internal best practices, standard processes and operating procedures, and talent models. - Ensure that process controls are in place to manage performance and monitor compliance - Plan and guide unit management in total supply chain productivity - Identify opportunities on major cost and inventory drivers, such as material, labor, freight, handling, and overhead spend. - Plan, propose and execute value stream mapping and team-based continuous improvement events to execute process improvements; drive Lean thinking and practices into the Supply team and supplier base
Requirements: - BA/BS; MBA preferred - 10+ years experience in supply or operations management - Supply chain consulting experience
